Terms and Conditions of Membership of SAAA

On making an application to join the Sport Aircraft Association of Australia Inc (SAAA), such application triggers your application to also become a Member of the Sport Aircraft Facilities Inc (SAF); SAF exists to hold certain assets on behalf of the Members of SAAA. By virtue of making this application to renew an existing membership or establish a new membership, you acknowledge your agreement to be recorded as a Member of both SAAA and SAF, and that you will abide by the prevailing Rules and policies & procedures of both Associations. On the occasion of a new membership application, one cent of your first membership subscription payment will be applied to settling a joining fee for introduction as a Member of SAF.

New Member applications will be processed immediately and, once a payment has been made, a new membership is recorded as “active” with the application being approved subject to ratification by the National Councils of SAAA and SAF. The law and hence the Rules of our associations require this step.  In the extremely unlikely event that a new membership application is not ratified by the National Councils, any fees you have paid in regards to joining SAAA (and SAF) will be refunded to you.
