Aircraft
The SAAA encourages people to build and fly their own aircraft through courses and regular meetings with its localised sub-groups (called “chapters”).
Building and flying an aircraft can be much more affordable than you would think.
An example may be to build an aircraft under $15,000 Australian dollars.
Some are listed below:
Thatcher CX4 | BK1 | Teenie Two | Hummelbird Ultra-cruiser plus
These aircraft have:
- a cruise speed above 80 knots,
- all metal construction for easy construction & docile (easy to fly) flight characteristics.
- a 4 stroke engine
